Dhobi Ghat.. Dhobi Ghat in Mumbai, which is known as world's largest outdoor laundry, is located a few hundred yards away from Mahalaxmi Racecourse, near mahalaxmi station.The history of Dhobi Ghat dates back to more than a century.

Almost two hundred dhobis and their families work together in what has always been a hereditary occupation.

Curious onlookers can be seen admiring the talent with which the dhobis (laundrymen) carry about their work of cleaning clothes.
